New Orleans Public Library

New Orleans Public Library is dedicated to providing information and literary service to the community. The library continues to provide full service library locations that offer patrons reference service, internet access, instructional and entertainment cd and dvds and year-round programming. Twenty four hour access to our library catalog and periodical databases are available on the library’s website. With the recent release of the library’s master plan, NOPL will continue to work toward reopening closed facilities and to build new ones.

Jefferson Parish Library

Jefferson Parish Library is a service institution dedicated to providing the highest quality services to meet the informational, cultural, educational, and recreational needs of the community. To accomplish this mission, the Library System will acquire, organize, and provide access to materials that reflect all points of view. The Library System will take a proactive position by interacting with the community to develop resources, policies, and professional services in response to changing needs. In doing so, the Library System will act as a responsible steward of the resources made available by and will ensure accountability to the citizens of Jefferson Parish.

New Orleans Gulf South Booksellers Association

The New Orleans Gulf South Booksellers Association (NOGSBA) is an organization primarily made up of independent booksellers in the New Orleans and Gulf South areas.
